Summer Infant Monitor Review: Baby Pixel Cadet

Finding a good monitor for my kids was really important to me. Summer Infant has never let me down, but this new monitor is the best one I’ve had from them. From the clear image to the zoom and steering, I honestly couldn’t be happier! I want to thank them for sending this monitor for us to review, and putting my mind at ease when my kids are sleeping. I currently use the monitor for my son while I am sleep training, but I plan to move it to my daughter’s room or even the playroom as she gets older and enjoys playing independently.

It is sold on Amazon so go check it out!

These are some of the features that I absolutely love…

-Remote camera steering–my kid moves all over the crib and sometimes the camera isn’t in the right position, so I am able to steer it back and forth to see Harper better.

-digital zoom, 3 levels–again, I love being able to adjust the camera because Harper moves all over the place! This is nice when I take the monitor to my mother’s house when my kids stay the night as well.

talk-back to baby & temp display–the temperature thing is amazing to me, because I constantly worry that it’s too hot or too cold in his room. No need to worry any longer! I don’t use the talk-back to baby but I will in the future as Harper gets older.

-lullabies & white noise--This is perfect. The music comes right from the monitor. How easy!?

-up to 1,000 ft. range–we have a three story townhome, so it’s nice to know that we can be pretty much anywhere in our house or even right out back on our deck and we’ll have connection to the monitor.

-VOX (voice activated screen wake up) — This is a great feature to save battery on the monitor and also not have the screen lit up at night when there’s no activity.

I really love every aspect of this camera. It’s user friendly, affordable, and has a clear picture. The digital zoom is probably my favorite part because my kid just doesn’t stay in one spot. It would also be great to put in a bigger space because of the wide zoom range.

Make sure to check out the awesome products that Summer Infant has, as well as this monitor. This is a perfect baby shower present or a great upgrade from your current monitor!
